Operation North State’s 2nd Annual Fishin’ Festival on Randleman Lake

Randleman, NC - The Petty Family  Foundation and Heart of North Carolina Visitors Bureau (HNCVB)  proudly sponsor  Operation North State’s 2nd Annual ”Randleman Lake - Top Shelf Fishin’ Festival”, set for Tuesday, June 7, from 8am until 5pm (rain or shine).  

The event takes place at 7123 Adam’s Farm Road, along Randleman Lake in the main access area.  The goal of the "Fishin' Festival" is to honor North Carolina’s Wounded Warriors and Disabled Veterans.  

Fishing licenses will be provided by the NC Wildlife Resources Commission.  The fishing hosts will provide their boats, expertise and all tackle and equipment needed. Participants can fish for either bass or crappie. Each boat can accommodate one fishing host, one Wounded Warrior (or Disabled Veteran), and one Caregiver if needed. 

The King, Richard Petty will be there in the afternoon to sign autographs.   

Admission is FREE for the first 50 Wounded Warriors and Disabled Veterans who register. Fishing experience is required and caregivers are welcome.
