Seagrove, NC - After the cold gray days of January, the Seagrove Potters of Historic Busbee Road like to brighten up their shops with some Valentine cheer.
The Valentine Open House on Saturday, February 7 is the perfect time to buy special, handmade gifts for your loved ones and check out the first of the new pottery creations for 2015.
Shops will be festively adorned, stocked with newly fired pottery designs and refreshments will be served. Shake off the winter doldrums, pack up your sweetheart or your whole family and enjoy a lovely country drive.
Hickory Hill is excited about Valentines Day! The shop will be stocked with ware, some with a Valentines theme.
Come by, have refreshments and see whats new. Hours will be 9-5
Ben Owen Pottery will feature Chinese Red and Purple glazes for a Valentines gifts 10am-5pm.
For this Valentine's Day event, Chris Luther Pottery will serve chocolates and planning demonstrations throughout the day.
Studio will be open 10 to 5 with a variety of pieces to choose from.
O'Quinn Pottery will offer refreshments and door prizes in their celebration of Valentine's Day. Open from 9am to 5pm.
Cady Clay Works will feature special Valentine merchandise. Enjoy our Valentine decorations and tasty treats!
Jugtown Pottery will feature Copper Reds, vases, tea wares and a new firing of pottery and felted pieces will be in the shop. Come and shop and enjoy light fare and dark chocolate! 8:30am to 5pm
JLK Jewelry will have new jewelry designs available.
There are twelve shops within a 3 mile drive along Busbee Road in the Westmoore community south of Seagrove, NC. Potters, a jeweler and a blacksmith are all busy working in their studios and invite you to join them. You can visit with the artists and take home a piece of their creativity to enjoy in your own home, helping to keep alive the long traditions of North Carolina craft.
