Healthy Communities Randolph kicks off "The Year of the Trail" with hike to Walker’s Creek from Walker’s Creek TH in the Uwharrie NF. 

Please dress appropriately for the weather. Wear comfortable closed toe shoes. If it is raining at the time of the hike, it will be canceled. There is no cost to participate and no pre-registration is needed. This event is open to all who can hike this distance unassisted. This hike will be approximately 2.8 miles total and should take about 2 hours. The terrain is up and down and rocky in places, but all in all it’s considered a moderate hike. Dogs are welcome but must remain on a leash at all times.
