While others are heading back to school, head to the North Carolina Pottery Center and learn to make some slab clay projects with Artist in Residence and NCPC Instructor, Cat Viera at the North Carolina Pottery Center.
This class is for beginners however experienced artists are welcome. At the end of the class session you will choose a glaze and the instructor will glaze your work and fire it for you. (The glazing & firing process typically takes 2-3 weeks, and you will need to pick up the pieces once they are finished. All work must be picked up within 60 days.)
Students should expect to take home 2-3 pieces. All work completed will be food, microwave, and dishwasher safe. Ages 12 and up are welcome to participate with a limited class number of 8. Payment is required when registering for a class.
