North Carolina Zoo offers Free Admission to Veterans this Weekend, November 10-12

ASHEBORO, NC- The North Carolina Zoo appreciates the veterans who are serving or have served our country and will honor them with free admission this weekend, November 10-12, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Veterans and active military with valid military ID or DD form 214 will receive free admission to the Park. Their friends and family will receive $2 off the standard price of admission (Up to six (6) guests).

The Zoo is alive with all the most beautiful colors of autumn and, with cooler temperatures, many of the animals are very active.

Guests may purchase individual tickets or Fun Passes to enjoy the Dragonfly  paddle boats, Carousel, Giraffe deck and the 4-D theatre, now showing the 13-minute “Polar Express.” Some attractions are weather dependent.

The North Carolina Zoo values the service and sacrifice of our military and is excited to welcome them to the world’s largest natural habitat zoo this weekend. For more information visit nczoo.org/veteransday.
