UPDATE FROM ULAH-SEAGROVE METROPOLITAN WATER DISTRICT REPRESENTATIVE MIKE WALKER: The Town of Seagrove water repair scheduled for tomorrow has been delayed until late afternoon. Please disregard the earlier press release below and note that the Randolph County Visitor Centers will operate on their normal schedule from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

RANDOLPH COUNTY VISITOR CENTERS TO OPERATE ON DELAYED SCHEDULE

ASHEBORO - Due to a water leak in the Town of Seagrove that will affect water service through noon tomorrow, the Randolph County Visitor Centers will operate on a delayed schedule. Both North and Southbound centers will open at 12 p.m., at which time water service is expected to be fully restored.
Although the Visitor Centers will be temporarily closed, visitor services will be provided by toll free phone at (800) 626-2672 starting at 8:30 a.m.
The Randolph County Tourism Development Authority is a public authority created by the N.C. Legislature; and operates solely on occupancy taxes generated by overnight guests in Randolph County. For additional information, call (336) 626-0364 or go to HeartofNorthCarolina.com.
