Beginning Watercolor Classes offered in Randolph County The Randolph Arts Guild (R.A.G.) offers two beginning watercolor classes taught by regional artist and educator, Jennifer Pfeiffer. Both classes include an overview of several basic watercolor techniques. Students will try their hand at these approaches

Asheboro, NC - The Randolph Arts Guild (R.A.G.) offers two beginning watercolor classes taught by regional artist and educator, Jennifer Pfeiffer.  Both classes include an overview of several basic watercolor techniques.  Students will try their hand at these approaches and then create their own painting with guidance from Jennifer.  Absolute beginners as well as those wanting to continue exploring watercolors would enjoy these classes. All materials are provided.  Payment and registration are required for enrollment.  Each class costs $40 for R.A.G. members, $45 for non-members.

The first beginning class is designed for middle school aged young adults.  Students will explore various watercolor techniques and create a jellyfish painting.  This class meets on Wednesday, July 15 from 10 a.m. -- 12 p.m. at the Randolph Arts Guild located 123 Sunset Avenue in downtown Asheboro.  The enrollment deadline for this class is Monday, July 6.

The second class is designed for adults of all ages.  Students will explore various watercolor techniques and create a sailboat and sunset painting.  This class meets twice: on Monday, July 20 and Wednesday, July 22 from 9:30 a.m. -- 11 a.m. at Archdale Parks and Recreation's Creekside Park located at 214 Park Drive.  The enrollment deadline for this class is Monday, July 13.

Artist Bio

College with a BS in Fine Arts / Art education (concentration in Ceramics and drawing) and a minor in coaching. She moved from New York to Greensboro, North Carolina in 2010 and started teaching High School Art and coaching for Guilford County Schools. She has been involved in all types of Art camps and programs since she was a teen. Her favorite mediums are Clay and watercolor paints. Her other passions outside of the arts are playing Soccer and Basketball in adult leagues and spending time decorating her home. Jenn has always had a passion for sharing and teaching the arts with others to help them bring joy and creativity to their lives as well. She married her husband Matt in 2013 and they now reside in their new home in High Point NC.
